Three students were killed.

A shooter on campus at Michigan State University on Monday night killed three and injured five.

Michigan State University police have positively identified two of the victims. The identify of the third victim was withheld at the request of the family.

Brian Fraser, a sophomore, was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Fraser was the head of the Phi Delta Theta chapter at Michigan State University.

The national chapter of Phi Delta Theta released a statement saying, “As chapter president, Brian was a tremendous friend to his Phi Delt brothers, the Greek community at Michigan State, and those he interacted with on campus.”

Junior Alexandria Verner from Clawson, Michigan, said she came from the Verner family.

Statement released by Clawson Public Schools on Verner, a Clawson High School Class of 2020 graduate, praising him as “a superb student, athlete, leader.”

She “exemplified kindness every day of her life,” the school district said. If you knew her, you loved her, and we’ll all carry the memories of her with us always.

According to the district, Verner was survived by her parents and two siblings.
